okay, so i scoured imgfave, and these are the most accurate representations of a show called "skins" i could find. "skins" has two versions, the american and the british version. the american version failed miserably, which is so, so cool. but the british version is scary as fuck. at many points during my OCD viewing of it, it makes me question how in control i am of my emotions. i think about some one more stable watching it and i don't know if they'd have the same reaction, so i try to get them to watch it but then i realize i don't want them to, because then what if they are in the same pain as me? (yeah the some one else is entirely sonia.)
also i was thinking that this show must only show on some obscure cable channel over there, because it is really, really intense. it's all about sex, drugs, and partying in general and so, last night i watched the series (or season) in which a chica named effy is the main character, and effy and goes and has a mental breakdown and her psychiatrist loves her and kills her boyfriend, the only person who really truly cares about her and then the series fucking ends without anyone knowing where the fuck is FREDDIE CUZ OH YEAH HE DIED and it's gonna start up again (or already has?) with a new cast. it's so fucking weird and it scares me but its also awesome. i know tina has seen it.......and yeah here's how i look when i watch it:
then there's this:
what? they can do this in promos?!
and then also apparently they're friends so i'm really confused (oh the things you learn from the internet...):
ahh england... i don't understand ye. so american of me, i suppose. not understanding other cultures. is england another culture? yes. yes of course.
so now here are the weird imgfaves i could find of skins. enjoy. or don't look or care about whatever the fuck i'm talking about LIKE I CARE

I watched the entire Skins US and found it to be unbearably stereotypical. It was just another MTV show about teen partying and stupidity; it had absolutely no substance.
Skins UK, on the other hand, is the real deal. The characters in this version are deep, and by deep I mean fucked up. I'm not even that far into the first series, and it has already blown my mind. It's artistic and emotional and inappropriate and painful and I cannot stop watching it.
Girl, I love youu
