Dear Liz,
My blogging seems the best way to reach out to you and your soul, so here we go:
Your note was absolutely the most kindest thing anyone has done for me thus far this year. So thoughtful! Yes my schedule sucks, and I love complaining, but I'm always "down" per se... I was just being dramatic for the sake of the post.
It would be my pleasure to begin that thing you talked about in the note! (You know, the dirty thing..)
Love,
Meghan
P.S. I'll bring the notebook tomorrow.

COME ON!!!!!!!!!
You have NO IDEA how pissed i am at myself for being offended by this blog/book becuase it could have been sooo funny :( if only i was like sonia and was able to be demeaning and stereotypical of my race for a joke..
actually, how is being white a race? like shouldn't race be like "norwegian" and such?
i woke up with an unremarkable urge to write typos
i started my friday like any other: with an irrational view of The Big Bad Clock (the minute hand had quickened the pace solely to piss me off) and a brash attitude best attributed to some sort of CEO. so many decisions i must make, i thought to myself as i was lining up three pairs of shoes by the door way (likening myself to someone with actual purpose, i guess.)
it was about 6:30 a.m. and i was readying myself for another day of hell a la high school. i was filled with much anxiety about nikita, sonia's sister, making it to her before-school meeting on time, for god knows what reason.
the minute hand was pushing :50 when the sabade's car arrived on my driveway, and by then it had been a full 19 minutes i had adopted my Latin American attitude towards time (i've only heard, i've never actually been there, so excuse me if i'm stereotyping). a feeling of who cares? washed over me like the sound of fake waves that filled that yoga studio not two weeks ago...
anyway, the day wore on and out came those everyday characteristics that i've grown to loathe. first it was my spanish teacher's unremarkable way of saying so much, yet so little in the span of 52 minutes. then it was spotting the same few people in the hallway looking at me, the same few people who always see me alone, pathetic, and with the face of someone irretrievably pissed off, seeing me alone, pathetic, etc. once again. one bright part of my day was recieving an A on an English assignment. which i don't point out to brag about, but to lead to another point i'm trying to make: in addition to my schedule being the worst possible (something that prompts erin to repeat daily, "they [school administrators] hate you") but my one subject, my one subject that i'm a teeny tiny bit confident in, has been nothing but a repeatedly unmarked name on the particpation chart, and handed back poem analyses with labels such as D+ and D- written on them. which i'm sure you can already guess, has done loads to my already low ego.
things took a turn for the weird when i pushed the boundaries of my "already low ego" and sat with people i don't normally sit with at lunch (and when i say "sit with" i mean lean towards the group as i read The Kite Runner and fight the urge to cry cry cry).
then things went back to normal, with an embarrasing incident in my bedroom, in which sonia spotted feminine hygiene wrappers. not something i would normally admit to on the internet, but you see, it's my fault...i've never been very cleanly in that area (that could be interpreted multiple ways and i urge you to view the less gross version) and i'm finding the incident absolutely HILARIOUS. something someone with an excellent sense of humor would wave off as merely laughable (right now i'm pretending i'm in Cougar Town and Jules is my laughing buddy....oh Jules, how funny! lets have some more wine! which brings me to my unique way of pretending i'm in TV shows when in uncomfortable situations...but that's a different post.)
now finally, it was friday night and i was going to enjoy myself! not like in Gossip Girl, not 90210, not even like the The Good Wife would...
but with two very weird people. i won't bore you with the boring details of what we did, but we started off with acacia acting bored and ticked, to her obnoxiously running around sonia's kitchen with half of her shirt off and her mouth flapping like a duck...or an insane person (ok i will explain that one: she just ate some sort of spicy pepper) .....if only Jules and Greyson could've seen that spectacle...

come on
really oprah? i mean, come on...don't you think that's a little ironic...? i mean, come on.
i would've posted the how i met your mother video where ted repeatedly says "come on" but i couldn't find it....all in the name of homeworkavoidance.

in tribute to sonia's blog...
i really can't pick and choose and connect words together so cohesively and entertaingly...i was going to try and copy sonia's most recent post (hence the title) but stopped there due to laziness and partial fear of failure. funny, same thing happened with my homework not five minutes ago..

ohhhhhhhhh my!
man oh man, do i feel lonely. usually, i have a surplus of people to talk bitch to....well not a surplus in normal people's terms, but a surplus to me....anyway, i totally miss bus buddies!! first of all, liz isn't even riding our bus! second of all, the only time i see her is in spanish, in which we have to speak in...not english! and it's always quiet as fuck, so it's impossible to discuss my blue leopard tights, etc!!!! then courtney and i have ZERO classes together, and that is a huge change from last year, when i used to get to talk to her in AP, lunch and the bus!!! now i just see her occasionally passing in the hallway, which is beyond depressing. and tessa....well, it's almost worse cuz i get to "talk with her for like a second" (she's the man quote holla) and then...bye-bye.
...basically, i miss you guys!! except sonia. she knows what she did.
haha just kidding....oh and i don't miss that beyotch er-bear either.

Unintersting, Usless Update
i love love love being alone in the house. i love not listening to no lectures, no "woah look meghan's here!" when i walk into the room, no listening to molly's incessant, obnoxious narration of everything that she does, no avoiding certain rooms with certain people occupying them, and no listening to my parents tell each other everything that happened to them that day. it's ridiculous, annoying, and boring.
i love being alone in the house. just me and lena. walking around. eating shit. reading shit. watching shit on tv. the only sound when the tv's not blaring is the wind whistling from the front door to the back door. it's peaceful. i love it. i love wearing whatever i want and not being judged. for instance, blue leopard-print tights and my paisley thong showing through. it's a beautiful thing.
sure, being a home-body can be somewhat isolating, so as soon as the family shows up, i'll be sure to put on some proper clothes and go out. or perhaps seculd myself and do homework.

well, folks, i woke up this morning with the sole intention of being productive. which, i'm sure can't really be described as a "sole intention" being that productivity revolves around achieving multiple things...

i'm sure i can speak for all of us, when i say: we all do, kristin, we all do....

the coffee maker.
UNFORTUNATE BIT OF NEWS HERE, Y'ALL.
so as i've been drinking coffee all summer long, mostly alone, i've been noticing some things... (yes, that's right courtney, that little "i'm gonna stop until school starts" shit is over. it never even started.)
what i've been noticing:
so as i've been drinking coffee all summer long, mostly alone, i've been noticing some things... (yes, that's right courtney, that little "i'm gonna stop until school starts" shit is over. it never even started.)
what i've been noticing:
- my home coffee is much better than dunn bros and much much better than five-bucks aka starbucks.
- when i'm in quiet surroundings, after i've drank my coffee (let's say...an hour or less) my stomach makes the sound of a coffee maker. you know--when the beans are blending with the water, and the glorious hotness is dripping into the holder-cup-majiggy? it's like the coffee is dripping from my now stained esophagus and into the bewildering unknown that is my digestive system.
i would now like to issue a formal apology to the internet...you didn't need to know that.
here's an interesting story.
so i get up today at 7 because i'm decidely an idiot in addition to being a huge loser (actually because i wanted to do a "dry run" for tomorrow [wtf, why??]) and i put on this amazing outfit. well, actually, i watch an episode of "The Rachel Zoe Project" which i had recorded, and then, feeling like the shit i go and put on a crazy-awesome-flowy-skirt-with-a-chunky-new-belt-and-flowy-white-cardi... then i watch some more tv. i realize, after 2 more episodes of that idiotic show, that i have homework to do (and when i say homework i mean: go down to my desk, open the computer....and go on twitter/blogger....) but oh! what do you know! my outfit is fucking uncomfortable! the skirt is really short and cold....(p.s. why is it so fucking cold outside?!) and the belt is suffocating me. so what do i do? the only logical thing.
i put on my black legging jeans. because when you don't buy them at American Eagle, you don't get to be called jeggings, unfortunately. so i have these things on, my black lover(s) as i endearingly call them, and retreat downstairs...all cozy and a little bit turned on.
what do i do when i feel all sexed up by my jeans (jk, i'm not that lonely)? i go on blogger, that's what. AND WOAH HOLY SHIT! surprise of a lifetime! liz also blogs about her jeggings! and i had a classic, narsisstic moment and all i wanted to do was throw a party for me and liz and our jeggings....
you may be asking yourself at this point one of two questions:
1. why do i have no life? (because you are reading a stupidass blog at this moment)
or
2. why is meghan so enthustiastic (and horny for) her jeans?
well, i'll tell you: i don't have any goddamn answers...what am i? your shrink?

breaking and incredibly interesting news here, peeps:
ok so i attempted to straighten my hair today...the whole works, blow drying it "straight,"etc.
would you like to know what came of that?
1. a formal declaration that some would describe as "harmful to society." ***
2. the deflowering of my "say 'fuck' one-hundred times in a sentence" virginity.
***the formal declaration is that i'm never ever ever ever ever ever going to straighten my hair again. kablammey!

i really like reading things, but only when people are watching.
CAN SOMEONE GET ME A DAMN BOOK?! OH HELLA HELL
animals.
there are two songs that i love that are both named animal. one is by mike snow who has two I's in his name for no apparent reason besides artistic expression and it bugs the hell out of me. then there's one by neon trees.
both were free on iTunes, like, a year ago or something.
know this. live this.

obv.
i have a theory...the song "Mine" by T.Swift was supposed to be called "For The First Time" but that implys sex, and apparently this 20 year old can only sing about feeling like a princess. Piss off, as Ronald so kindly put it.. i don't know why i have such strong feelings about that...
well, i finally set up my homework station...most of you probably don't have a "station" to set up, because y'all be normal and use your bed, or y'know, your desk ('cept oni). but the place that i associate with all-school-shitty-shit is in the darkest depths of my house (my basement. i do homework in my basement.)
i really like this system because it leaves my room as sort of a "safe" and "carefree" and "happy" place. i need to have this separation of church and state because my feelings towards school and beddy-bye are so passionate and so conflicting. i think if i were to do my homework in my room i would die because a.) germs are icky and b.) the depression would be too much...wow that got dark fast. maybe it's because i haven't been to school for a while, but i'm feeling very very very negative about it. which...doesn't make any sense because it should be the opposite....not that i feel positive when at school. GAWD NOOOO. obviously.
anyway, i set up the-place-in-which-i'll-do-my-homework and i walked down the stairs to go start some. then BAM. memories. flashbacks. death death death. all the sudden i wanted to cry like a crier and cry. i hate school. obviously. i hate homework. i hate going down those steps like i did multiple times a day for a whole goddamn year. i hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate hate it. obviously.
