another 80s teen flick.

new movie coming out, i guess...set in the 80s...! looks a little bit shitty, mostly awesome. looks like they're trying to capture a little of the awesomeness that was adventureland...but i guess "imitation is the highest form of flattery," right? so i should be flattered. because, you know, i wrote that movie.

nope. 1988. initially, i was filled with a mix of anger (because these movie people apparently didn't think 87 WAS WORTHY ENOUGH) and happiness (because i think it is so weird that they all choose 1987 as their 80s year of choice. "they" being the movie people.) now i don't know what to think. tell me what to think, people.
