i'm increasingly less germaphobic; this is really, really cool for me.
signs of progress
- daily usage of school restroom (note: 7th grade through 10th grade it was exceedingly rare for me to step foot in any public facility.)
- backpack anywhere. it used to be that i would only put my backpack in the garage and take out the items i needed and carry them to my basement desk (note: the original purpose of my basement office was so i wouldn't mix school items with my bedroom--a forbidden concept in germaphobe world.) now, though i still don't do homework in my room, i'd like to think i would be able to have my backpack in there. maybe by the door.
- i do a lot of my homework on my basement couch. textbooks are now strewn across the floor. this wouldn't have happened maybe even a year ago.
- recently...occasionally.. i haven't immediately changed out of my school clothes after school. i've sat in my school clothes on regular couches and chairs. WOAHH WHAA?!! YES. and i'm sitting on a couch right now that i have sat on with my school clothes and i don't care at all.
fucking awesome.
